we may be different but he is nothing but a guy with a hard on about how good we are.

Main Camp

I heard alot of BS about AL before going to main camp. For the record who ever is saying stuff is jelous. I didnt make the team this year, but I will try next year, just because how they treated us. I have been to main camp for other NAHL teams and in now way was it as good as this. They Housed us they Fed us and they worked us. There was alot of talent there and they will be a decent team. I am not made about being cut because how I was the treated from the time I checked in until the end player meetings.

Yes the NW Wisco Knights were a Jr B team. The league as you all know has gone T3 Jr A, a good move for the league. From what I have seen, some good players and a few good teams. The only thing the league did by "going" T3A was change the stationery. If it looks like Junior B and it smells like Junior B, and it COSTS like Junior B, then......




FWIW, I have no problems with Junior B, as there are some quality B teams out there. Just leave the smoke and mirrors out of it. Most folks know what's what anyway.

This section and others of the Hockey Forums Glassrattler has some of the nastiest /jealous/hateful bunch of new monikers on it and some of the so called old-timer respectable ones, few that there are, are starting to catch their bug and talk constant trash and vulgarity. It is really getting bad especially those who come out of no where and attack for no reason other than jealously or hate.

Although this has been said numerous times before, it sounds like it needs said again -

Everyone is welcome on the GR, but the GR is definitely not for everyone.

This board was started by a guy that got tired of how other boards were run and it is pretty much an anything goes type of place (with a few limited exceptions). I agreed to help him out and moderate the NAHL forum if a thread got completely out of hand. That has happened about 4 or 5 times in the past year, where a topic go so far off topic that I split the crap into a separate thread so the initial topic could continue.

If you don't like the GR, then don't come here. It is what it is, and it is not likely to change anytime soon. I'm certainly not trying to run anyone off, but people that come on here wanting the GR to be something other than what it is are going to be very disappointed when it doesn't change.

I agree, it is kind of a shame. I hope you don't think us vets on this board enjoy it either, but it is what it is. Overtime, the idiots end up getting bored and move on. Some just take a little longer to get there than others.

Albert Lea is slated to get high marks during its first year. The organization as a whole is very efficient and they picked up some good talent both on and off the ice.

ladyluck: Entertaining? Not really but what can you do. FYI, there are some good forums and positive blogs out there, but as of late they are also either closed; closed for comment and/or filled with bias or misgivings from their owners, which is their right and/or they are so tightly monitored that no one that dares to disagree, even when in a civil manner can get their posts up. Like Kev says, some disappear when no one pays attention or entices combat from some of these posters here on this forum.

OK, for the record. I am not jealous, why would I be. I am not a coach, I never applied for the job in AL. In fact and I think I have said before, I know Zangs and hope he does well. I thought I had some issues with Willett when he was there, but found out I was for the most part wrong. I may not have liked him for some of the decisions he has made, but I do like what he has stood up for.

Again about being jealous. I do not have any reason to be. No kids, and again I do not have a desire to coach. You guys can say what you want about me, not going to lose sleep over being the new guy no one likes. I do lose sleep over shady programs hurting kids futures. This is not because I have kids, I dont, it is because I love JR hockey, it is in my opinion the best level of hockey out there.

Everyone around here can say what they want about how great the USHL, NAHL is, but I will tell you this. Things like this would NEVER happen in the CHL (OHL, WHL, QMJHL). Situations similar happened in the BCJHL, USHL, NAHL and guess what, yeah those teams dont exist anymore.

To all of you who ripped me for ripping Soskins. Next time you see him, ask him about the time his OWN TEAM left him on the road and went home without him. A coup, players and parents banded together, and left him at a resturant over 200 miles from home. Yeah it happened, and it was on purpose. You know how I know?
