Anaheim

Just wondering how many people think that Anaheim can repeat next year? I think they have a great team and they have a great opportunity to get back there next year.

I don't see why not. The Ducks rock!!! The only big question is whether Selanne will return as I pointed out in a previous thread. Pronger and Niedemayer contracts still have a few years and Giguere is locked up for a while so its certainly possible.

A Duck Cup redux is not out of the question, however, it is VERY difficult to repeat as champs, given the parity in the upper echelon of the NHL. Last back to back Cup winners was Detroit and that was a few years ago.

I am not sure if Selanne would be back or not. People always say leave when your on top but after the game Selanne seemed pretty excited about the opportunity to come back and play again with this team and try to repeat.
