Are we supposed to be surprised??
I fear Jacko's guilty: brother
March 07, 2006
LOS ANGELES: Jermaine Jackson feared his younger brother Michael was guilty of child molestation but backed him at his trial because he thought the pop star would commit suicide in prison.
In a bombshell tell-all outline for a book, shopped to publishers just weeks after Michael's arrest in November 2003,
Jermaine described the former King of Pop as a sometimes out-of-control drug and alcohol abuser with a calculating mean streak who had "a thing for young children."
The eight-page proposal for Legacy: Surviving the Best and the Worst listed Michael Jackson's preferred substances as Vicodin, Demerol, codeine, Percocet, cocaine, Jack Daniels and wine.
"Does he really know what he does with these kids?" Jermaine wrote.
"I don't want to tell you my brother's innocent. I am not certain that he is."
Jermaine's still-unpublished tale is the ultimate insider's look at the troubled star.
He admitted the family protected Jacko's image and said the singer also cheats, lies and even changed the colour of his skin.
Even the pop star's behaviour with his own nephews has left his family "shaken", according to Jermaine.
He recounts the family coming together after the death of brother Tito's ex-wife in the mid-1990s and finding Michael sitting on a bed with Tito's young sons and holding them in a disturbing manner.
Jermaine also mentioned the singer's bizarre behaviour shortly before he surrendered to face charges in November 2003.
Holed up in a Las Vegas hotel room, Michael calmly watched a Pinocchio DVD with his three children in his lap, but later flew into a rage, trashing the room and breaking every glass, lamp and dish in it.
The protective big brother vowed to help kid brother Michael beat the charge because "Michael couldn't survive one day in prison ... he'd commit suicide."
Other bombshell teasers in Jermaine's book outline include:
* DURING the Jackson 5 days, Michael's brothers feared he was gay. The brothers met lots of women and all eventually fell in love but "Michael, well, he wasn't interested. We used to quietly say that we couldn't have a gay brother";
* MICHAEL hated Jews and thought Hollywood moguls Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen stole his idea for the Dreamworks studio, including the boy-on-the moon logo;
* A DEVIOUS and calculating Michael squashed his brothers' solo musical careers but the family stood behind Michael despite pain, doubts and misgivings, unwilling to give up on "our little brother"; and
* MICHAEL'S two older children by ex-wife Debbie Rowe were fathered by a "sperm donor" -- not the "natural way" as the pop star has insisted for years.
"My brother purchased children," Jermaine commented.
Rowe, the mother of 9-year-old Prince Michael I, and Paris, 7, was paid "several million dollars" to carry the artificially inseminated babies, Jermaine says.
"It is like a sanctioned black market," he said and cattily referred to Rowe as a woman "nobody would ever look twice at".
He said the only reason Michael married her was to appease his Muslim pals who do not approve of out-of-wedlock pregnancies.

Jermaine Jackson attacks 'abusive' father Joe
07/03/2006 - 12:44:12
Michael Jackson's father Joe's abusive behaviour towards his children would have landed him in jail if he hadn't had the protection of his wife Katherine, according to a book proposal Jermaine Jackson put forward in 2003.
The eight-page synopsis, obtained by the New York Daily News, for Jermaine's unpublished book 'Legacy: Surviving the best and the worst', implies the pop patriarch molested Jermaine's sisters Rebbie and LaToya while allowing his young pop star son, Michael, to spend time alone with "important business men".
The synopsis reads: "Joseph did some disgusting things to LaToya and Rebbie, especially. If it weren't for mother's loyalty to him, he'd probably be in prison for what he did to our sisters."
