Well the Blues do not need non supportive idiots who do not think twice about posting nothing of value or bad stuff about our kids who are on the team.

Smackles - yeah, Mihalek went back East. His dad played football at BC (in the Flutie era) and I think he's interested in an east cost school.

I can only base what I saw against very limited exposure to NAHL play, so while I liked what I saw, not sure yet how they'll measure against the rest of the league.

Fangers, I was at each and every game unlike some who have never been to one of our games and just spread stuff about our team like they know it all.

It was kind of just what I anticipated. Its going to be almost a new team and thats exciting. I am happy with the choices the coaches made.

I just read this. Every year Springy doesn't hold on to their vets. The scurry off like rats off a sinking ship. Everyone used to blame that on Polos. Now who are you guys blaming it on? Only 4 vets coming back. That shows all what type of program is being run there. Looks like players are avoiding Springy like the plague.

Look around the league and you may see other teams in the same floating boat.
Its great our kids move upward in their goals. Dont you think? Look at your team for example.

I believe a few other teams may have experienced the same changes but I agree its so good for the players to reach their hockey goals. Thats what its all about.

Springfield is a great organization and I am proud that my son is part of it.

Sounds good. We've been impressed with the way the organization, coaches, boosters, etc. have run things and treated us. Looking forward to the season.

Smackles is not part of the Springy team, you can tell how and what he posts. Go to his profile and read his prior posts. And, he sure as tooten is not their fan. His posts are too spread out and I am taking a bet, but he is not even an NAHL supporter, just someone who has a little knowledge some good and some bad, based on bias or rumors and he is bored and needs to post to satisfy his lack of self worth.

Wow you got something right -- I'm NOT part of the team. Outside of going to the games, I have no connection to the team. Do you really need to be a billet parent or real parent or booster member or investor to actually go and watch a junior game? I didn't realize that it was a little exclusive club. Gee here I thought all I had to do was pay 7 bucks at the door.

I'm a fan of hockey. Just hockey. I have no real attachment to the club and unfortunately NAHL hockey is the best we've got in Springfield during the winter weekends. Honestly if I had my choice between USHL and NAHL quality -- jesus f'n christ I'd dump the Blues in a heart beat. There you happy? I'm not hardcore homer for the NAHL. I just watch it because its there. Not to say its not entertaining -- it is but given other options, I'd rather take other optitons.

I never knew you had to be an absolute homer for a team to be a fan or to attend their games. Again -- silly me, I thought all you had to do is pay at the door.

As for Lou's comment -- every team's going through huge turnover. Ours this year is definitely bad but everyone that needed to move up did move up. Just how it is. Yes, Mr. Icetrap, I've been critical of Wyler at times, but it's not across the board to say in the offseason (when everything is bright and sunny and optomistic) to say give him a chance. This is the team he built, and this is his first real trial. I'm willing to give him this year. If that's not good enough for some people, well too fucking bad.

So for you two -- who's your lil pride and joy on the club? So I make sure to applaud them as future NHL first round picks and all-stars.

Rob Dongara -- any info on him. All I can turn up is he wants to play college hockey (duh) and played for BC High and he's apparently a "speedy winger" according to a Boston area paper on their "players to watch" article.

So...according to you its wrong to just do a simple google search on someone's name? To figure out what league he's played in and if, hell, he might be any good...

Why on earth would Zobak chose to pay thousands of dollars to play in the EJHL instead of playing for the Avs. I know AK is kinda far away, but he could have at least said he wasn't going and ask for a trade.
