Every year Springy doesn't hold on to their vets. The scurry off like rats off a sinking ship. Everyone used to blame that on Polos. Now who are you guys blaming it on? Only 4 vets coming back. That shows all what type of program is being run there. Looks like players are avoiding Springy like the plague. Look around the league and you may see other teams in the same floating boat. Its great our kids move upward in their goals. Dont you think? Look at your team for example.

My Bandits moved their players up, to college mainly, and the USHL. But thats not what is happening to Springy. They are scattering to every known Junior program in North America to get out of there. Thats what I'm saying. To the few who moved up, great. But most left for a comparable level but to organizations who try to move their players on better.

Unfortunately some men, like Smackles and such cannot deal with that aspect so they over-compensate being macho by blogging, at times, in a over bearing, nasty and jealous manner.

I still can't believe all this crap because I had an opinion about a player. I didn't think he played well, or as well as he could have at times. I even said, in this thread prior to all this crap, that he improved by leaps and bounds in the second half of the season. He played like crap -- but he got better. Just the way I saw it. I gave him his due in the end. Sue me.

I didn't think he was worth Plocar in the trade -- again sue me. That's opinion. I don't think Chris Mason was worth a third round pick -- do I have to turn in my St Louis Blues jersey as well?

It's nice to hear from 9Gillies9. We've had our differences and we've smoothed them out. I hope to do the same with anyone else that's willing to do so but from this point forth I'm going to ignore further trolling and I ask any moderator we do have to do the same as he did with the Owantonna bickering and place it elsewhere.

As for Paine, that's a shame. (and everyone note, I'm being positive and constructive and I've been on Paine's wagon for quite sometime) I really fealt he could have stepped into a top pairing role this year. He was looking great, teamed with Zobak, down the stretch and in the playoffs. I thought another year would have been a world of difference for him.

But still best of luck to Alex, can do a lot more with solid academics than you can with Tier II hockey experience.
