RLN -- who else is at try-outs? Any interesting names. Anyone else from the club last year? As I said I'll probably won't get out there until the late Friday game and the late Saturday game.

Which AJHL club for Dion? Joining Keevan with the Oilers?

And yeah, I forgot Colin Traschel but that's understandable. We ever figure out where he went?

AK -- I don't know for each invididual but there's a few personality conflicts and a few pissed about their ice time or their role (ie Keevan)

Whats wrong with my name? What is Smackles. Dick head

Kimbro, Zobak, and Tinkham are tenatively scheduled to be at the Av's main camp. I'm not sure if a trade was made or what the deal is?

Good trade for both, although we will really miss Jeremiah, we need defense. I hope all players in the deal are happy. Springfield is getting a great leader and offensive threat.

Bikerboy- SOunds like you may be cheering another relative at the camp this year, good luck to the man between the pipes.

yeah I'm gonna be busy this year with brothers on 2 different teams Smile

Jeremiah asked for the trade to the Blues so he is very happy about it. I hope the guys going up to the Avs are cool with it. Like you said, they are badly needed.

I know Dargis tried out for Omaha. Apparently he didn't make it.

I want to say he has a video on youtube promoting himself (or someone does).

Hmm stupid SJ-R said Kimbro was back. Him not being there's going to make Amanda very sad. And yeesh, kind of feel bad for his parents. They made the trip up here a handful of times but Tennessee to Alaska has to be pushing it.

Not happy with losing Zobak but we needed a second line center IMO. Gotta give up something to get something. Though the Avs article says they got two blueliners in the deal. Which Kimbro's not a blueliner.

And if Dargis is a solid leader, lord knows we need that.

Probably going to the Sliders game tonight and just catch the final all-star game tomorrow.

He made it to the All-star game but was cut after it. very disappointing for him. He had 6 different main camp invites but could only had time to attend one. Guess he picked the wrong one Sad

But he's glad he's with the blues!

I figured he'd make it in Omaha, but that franchise has the prestige and everyone seems to want to play there.

Their new coach is VERY defensive minded, so I have a feeling lots of kids will be turned away by that.

If I can ask, which other camps did he get invites to? If you care not to say, no problem or you can PM.

Good for Springy to get a kid of this caliber. Sounds like he might be the boost they need.

I think you're right. the coach said he was good enough to play in the league but didn't fit into what their team was doing.

He had invites to Waterloo, Tri-City, Steel and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. He is out fishing so I can't ask.

Thanks. Waterloo has a camp coming up, did he get invited to that one or one of the previous two main camps?

I find it real hard to believe that no one else has given him a shot.

Ok plans opened up so I shouuld be there for the final game today...sucks I'll miss the first one today. But probably going to be by myself, or potentially bring the old man with me.

Missus accidently scheduled something for herself and forgot about today being the last day.

Well thanks, I'm sure he'd appreciate the complement. He was invited to the main camp next week, but he is out commercial fishing.

I would have liked to see him attend more USHL camps as well, but ts very expensive to fly from Anchorage. The Omaha camp cost him almost a grand.

Holy cow! I guess only making it to Omaha's camp has pretty good reason (even if he had no other obligations). I'm sure it'd be even more to fly into smaller airports as well.

Thanks Ryan. He made the All-star cut...he's one of 4 goalies left...played very well this morning, has the final game this evening. Find out Sunday morning if he made it. They did cut the goalie they tendered...
