Brett Favre

What does everybody think of the Brett Favre situation?

I think the Packers should let him come back and be the starter. They were one game away from the Super Bowl last year. Aaron Rodgers is completely unproven even as a backup. I realize it is Aaron Rodgers' contract year but so what? Nobody is going to shell out big money for an unproven backup.

If it were a rebuilding year in Green Bay I would feel differently, but like I said before they were one game away from the Super Bowl last year. Brett Favre gives them the best chance to get there this year.

packers should release him. (his legacy will always be intact in greenbay just like Montana in SF).

He announced his retiremnt. Packers moved forward by drafting and making a team without Favre. They should continue that journey and allow Favre if he wants to come out of retirement seek a job elsewhere.

We all know how that usually plays out (montana in KC)

To hold onto him is assinine---
