Ok, Christmas is almost here. So if you could change one thing about the CHL, your team, the game in general, what would it be and why?

If I could change one thing about the CHL it would be the officiating. It would be nice to see a little bit more in the way of consistency.

And consistently "bad" doesn't count.

Tulsa could use a power play...one showed up Saturday night but it was on a 3 day pass from another team, I think.

Increase, or get rid of, the salary cap. Attract the types of players the CHL used to have. Quit hiring inexperienced referees. I'm tired of this league being the "developemental league" for refs. Also if this league wants to call themselves a "developemental league", maybe it's time to get more affiliations to have a direct line for developement. It seems like the only thing the Thunder is developing its players to do is retire early, for "once in a lifetime job chances".

I think they were all on the same "level" as the first wish. I feel that the reason for such crappy refs, is because of a salary cap, on refs. Don't pay them enough, get crappy officiating. And not having such a low cap, increases chances of getting an affiliation with higher leagues. That way they can send down top prospects, or vets on rehab, and not worry about hiring an accountant to figure out what the lower team has to "say" they are paying said player, while he's playing on said team.

Or lets go back to the mid 90's and just "overlook" teams violating the salary cap, and vet rule. Wait... we're doing that right now.

Ok, so to clarify, BT wants an increase in the salary cap. Because that will improve the officiating.
