Clayton...

KSN interviewed Clayton tonight and he said he was justified with the punishment and he wont retire. That's good news but I still think Fleck should of got more with the extent of the injuries Clayotn will be out 9 and fleck will be gone until jan. 20

Glad to see him up and around. The cut did not look near as bad as even Joel made it out to be.

Just watched the video on Channel 12

What does every one think now?

Stick looked lower than the chin to me

I Said the stick was under the chin

JOEL was certain it was a butt ending

looked like a charging call, to the head, but no butt ending

It was good to see him on the news...saying he can't wait to get back on the ice. The footage KSN had was much better then KAKE and it was of the hit.

I did get a chance to talk to Travis tonight, and he said he not feeling to bad and he did feel the suspension was fair. He said he was lucky because the major cut he had just missed his eye and his temple.

This morning on KGSO Joel said he believed it was a glove to the head and possibly a butt ending.

Yess! That is great news. I can't wait to see him back on the ice.
I have a question though does anyone know who old Duda is. I think he is getting kinda old. Cause he was like a rookie when i first went when i was little now i am a teen. Heck Yes. I just wanted to know, and i think that he is kinda getting to old and in the next few seasons he needs to retair.
This is our Year. Go Thunder

I'm pretty sure Joel didn't say (at least on here) that it was a butt-end; he said from the beginning, that it was an elbow. The interview that I saw, and channel 12, showed the left side of Clayton's face, on camera; in person, you could see that the right side, was where most of the damage was.

I watched the hit frame-by-frame several times on my big screen. There's no doubt that it was a nasty blow (elbow or forearm) to the head. Fleck should consider himself lucky, to only get 10.

I wonder what all of the OKC "it was a clean, hard hit" folks will have to say now. As I said all along, the proof was in the video.

He went into detail about the butt end of the stick and how he believed it could have made the cut and how it was not the visor the made the cut.

I have no reason to doubt you, I just didn't see it on this sight. In a thread, soon after the game, he said they were viewing the tape, and it looked to be an elbow. I guess I should go look for his quote.

He said that on the Sports Blitz, yesterday morning. I heard he's since retracted those comments.
