Curtale Sighting

Dallas Developmental Hockey
Training Camp in Dallas
July 28 - August 15

Dallas Developmental Hockey Inc., Coaching Camps and Instruction is designed to provide the Texas area the best resources for developing skills as a hockey player. Their philosophy is to teach and train the correct hockey skills that are necessary to facilitate development. They provide the instruction and feedback to break down the skills properly. They show the athlete the proper mechanics and give the proper reps needed to succeed. These concepts are not brought into traditional camps but are a must for the athlete to maximize their skills and succeed at the highest levels. Most importantly, as career coaches, they have the experience to teach the athlete how their skills actually relate to the game of hockey. You will not find another camp that parallels our staff's experience and passion for coaching and developing hockey players.

July 28-August 15 Junior A/AAA Training
August 4-August 8 Defense and Defensive Skills (all ages)
August 11-August 15 Shooting and Scoring Skills ( all ages)

Please visit dallasdevelopmentalhockey.com for camp and registration information for their 2008 summer training camps. You will find all the information you need regarding their Defenseman and Defensive Skills, Shooting and Scoring, and our Junior A/AAA training camps.

Camp Instructors: Tony Curtale - Mark Frankenfeld
Jaz Hayden - Eric Silverman - Dave Lee - Lucas Reid - Brad Larson - Jason Deitsch

Tony is stretching himself pretty thin seeing that he has a hockey school in fla from 7-28 to 8-1.

Good for him

It'd be nice if the team could sort of do some looking up of the alumni and tell us what they're doing. The ones still in hockey are easy to do (for the most part, if you love digging through minor league rosters every couple months) but I'm interested on what a lot of them have done now that hockey's over.

You no longer have to slosh through records for active players. Hockeydb.com now has a feature that allows you to embed the stats on your website. You can even set it up with a template to match your site's colors. So you just need to set it up once on your alumni page(s) and you're set after that.

I wrote about it and provided an example a few months ago: http://juniorhockey.blogspot.com/2008/04/new-toy-for-teams.html

As far as the NAHL goes, Hockeydb.com has been adding the league in recent months and currently has 1997-2005 seasons. I think Ralph's trying to figure out a way to fully integrate Pointstreak data. He's also got 1996-97 started, but I don't know if he'll fully load that season (or preceding ones) because the data wasn't supplied by Howe Sportsdata back then.

I pretty much stopped reading your blog when you stopped writing things in there. Hell I even took it off my favorites list. When you start writing in it again, I'll start reading it again.

He didn't bail. Christ at least get it right, he was fired. There is a difference you know?

Just because they all said it was a mutual agreement doesn't always mean it was mutual. You do know what mutual means right? It means they both agreed.

As in "You're Fired." "Ok, I'm Fired." , MC?

Yeah I knew about McKenna. I have a friend that lives in Las Vegas and he was raving about this rookie goalie they picked up a few seasons back. It was kind of funny.

Robbie as a stockbroker...I don't know why that kind of makes me chuckle
