Hey, before I made enough money to live in the good neighborhood, I used to let the 2 little darkies from next door come over and play in our yard.

we are back where we allways end up with you, fred. you have stories, just no proof for what you say. when you can provide scientific proof for what you've been saying (that the 8500 unemployed people do not want a job or that there are 8500 jobs for them) get back with me. until then, all your personal stories are just more bigoted bullshit.

How come you won't provide "scientific proof". maybe Fred doesn't like doing "homework" for others. More PROOF of jc being a troll. What a loser...

i have.
my part of this was to find out how many unemployed people there are. i did that - 8500 unemployed people in fred's town (according to the cc).
fred's part (which he agreed to do) was to proivde the number of jobs listed in the paper (400 by fred's "estimate").
8500 vs 400. that is a problem because we can't know how many of the 8500 don't want a job until there are enough jobs there for them not to take. i know that fred wants us to rely solely on his assurances that 8500 unemployed people in his town don't want a job, but...........
that just isn't good enough for me.

I believe it is the other way around. There are 2 more jobs than there are people who really want one.

actually, i was wrong. mcd's and bar jobs are usually not full time and as such wouldn't pay a liveable wage. we will count those 2 @ 1/2 job each. plus, let's keep the counts straight by counting up with your jobs count instead of down with the unemployed. i'll update the u/e count when next month's cc stats come out.

count to date
8500 unemployed
401 - available jobs

Hey, I know plenty of waitresses that make very reasonable livings. I was a big contributor to financing one bartenders under graduate degree and her move to Tennessee for law school. One other one used to thank me every month for paying her car payment.

my point exactly. they can't make a living at those jobs without prostituting themselves out on the side.

They were just little ones. I did offer them some watermellon one time and the little boy said he didn't want any because he didn't like it. I was almost speechless. Actually I was speechless after my wife pointed her finger at me and said "don't you dare".
