Hey, I lied. I didn't count the ads in the paper. I just guessed. But I did look at the Chamber website after you talked about it. I found something that was pretty interesting. We have so many jobs here that people come from all over to take them.

The point is, yes there are more unemployed than there are jobs, but there are jobs available for those that want them... Otherwise, there would be no such thing as want ads.

think some are under the beleif if they sit at home long enough a job offer will come knocking at their door

Did you take into account the race of the unemployed? I think we have about 80,000 darkies. So if you assume at least 10% of them don't want a job. That only leaves 500 unemployed and with about 400 jobs in the paper and saying there are probably about 100 people like me that didn't want a job. It's a wash.

I said economists claim full employment is at about 4%. Because there are that many who don't want a job. Like I said before GM and Ford want to have to hire as many people as possible. that is another lie. and more gibberish. "full employment" has nothing to do with how many people want a job. there are not even universally accepted definitions of "full employment", much less generally accepted rates of employment that constitute the so-called "full employment".
