Any Hershey Bears fans in here? I'm a Central Pennsylvania transplant living in Texas.

Used to be until they stopped being the Avs farm team but I still try to keep up with them every now and again so any info on them would be welcomed.

I've got a friend here in Wichita Falls who has a Dish Network hockey package and says he occasionally gets Hershey Bears games. Gonna try to get him to tape me a few and will update in here as I see what they are doing.

my favorite AHL team is the Philadelphia Phantoms since they are the top club of my team the Philadelphia Flyers. My next favorite is the Omaha Ak-sar-ben knights since I ocasionally make it out to some of their games if the wichita thunder is out of town.

I used to see them when I was a contractor traveling in between Pittsburgh and Philly back in the 2003-2004 and a little of the 2004 season.

I got it on eBay. I also have a "chocolate" colored practice jersey.

Bears are up 2 games to none n the Eastern Conference finals after sweeping the Eastern division semi finals and finals. First two games were road games so looks like another opportunity for a sweep!

And the Bears win game seven 5-4 9 minutes into overtime. Taking on the Milwaukee Admirals in Calder Cup finals. OH YEAH!!!

If anybody is interested and I guess I am the only one the Calder cup series is tied at 2 games apiece between the Hershey Bears and the Milwaukee Admirals. Game 5 is tomorrow night in Hershey. (Tuesday June 13.

looks as if the bears are making another run for the cup, they just finished game four of the first round, winning against the river rats 3-1!!! way to go bears!!!
