I was riding my bike along a fairly rural road once and scared up a small flock of turkeys that were hiding by the side of the road. They took off and flew right in front of me and nearly took me straight off my bike (I was cooking along about 20 mph or so). Scared the shit out of me. Yikes Those friggin' yard buzzards are big, noisy, and they most certainly fly.

I swear to God I thought you guys were kidding with that name for the Iowa AHL Team. Who is the idiot that decided to go with THAT. Who EVER it was that made that decision should get punched in the testicles, and at least they could have given that hog in the logo some bigger tusks to make it look a little meaner. All these years I thought there couldn't be a worse name for a team than "The Tarantulas" but alas I was wrong.
