"ECHL - Suspended Columbia Inferno defenseman Chris Cava one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for his actions in Wednesday's game against the Wheeling Nailers; Fined Idaho Steelheads coach Derek Laxdal as a result of his actions following Thursday's game against the San Diego Gulls."

From what I can gather, there was a bad ref by the name of Parker who waived off one or two Steelhead goals and didn't call major penalties. Lax got mad.
