It was confirmed today that St. Lou has a big bag of nothing and has been rendered completely irrelevant on GR... Lurkers and posters alike may now safely ignore any and all posts by said individual.

That is all... we now return you to your irregularly scheduled idiocy...

I don't know BF--before we stay on topic, I think we can agree that St. Louse does post some things on Glassrattler that we can agree with.

For instance, on Nov. 27, 2006, St. Louse said: "When you speak on a public forum, you should be held responsible." And you make false accusations of a crime, you should be held responsible.

And given that we've crossed swords with St. Louse about the joys of the Chesterfield facility, consider this from Sept. 7, 2006, when the Bandits were just coming to town: "The financial side of the move is going to be devestating to the owners. Very small support is what will occur in St. Louis. Especially in the rink they are skating. It is a bad place to watch a hockey game."

Or this gem from just a day later: "Lets be honest here, the Chesterfield facility the Bandits are playing in sucks for fans."

Or consider that we haven't always been wild about how the NAHL does things. Here's one from May 5, 2007, about the Robertson Cup Playoffs: "It was ignorant to have Nationals in Fairbanks . . . Then having Fairbanks in Nationals is just a joke, they haven't won a playoff game yet. Stupid idea by a stupid league."

So you see, St. Louse actually had a functioning brain at some point . . .

Did I read correctly in this thread that St. Lou is a female? What a mouth she has and not in a good way either.

There were posts made two months ago referring to St. Lou as "Louise," and it wasn't clear if that was serious or not. I did see a reference to a wife on one of St. Lou's ancient posts, so your guess is as good as anybody else's.

How about that schedule?

Some parts of the schedule don't fit depending on which site its on:
RR site has the guys playing Dec 5,6,9 @ Kenai- League site says Dec 5,6 7!
RR site Feb 27, 28, Mar.1- League site Feb 26,27,28 @ Kenai again! which is correct?

Also RR site has the guys playing Wenatchee, Springy, Wichita Falls , and St. Louis several times during the season @ 12am, Leagues site says time to be decided for all games after the showcase. WTF?????
The 20 day layoff in Feb, (7th then next game 27th) could go either way, a good break to heal battered bodies or cold break to kill a possible hot run.
I would like to see them play some of the other teams during the season, you know, more varied inter-divisional play. Maybe sometime in the future ?

20 day break is an excellent time to take a weekend trip to Canada and play somebody. Get the return trip the following season.

I saw on this thread earlier that it looked like Frank just took the original schedule of the south and made the schedule for the west and south. I believe this to be true since there is hardly any interleague play between the south, north, and central. What with this schedule, did it really save any one in the south any travel costs at all?? To me it looks like it just continues to favor the northern teams.

Nice of you to try though, pretty much proved my point. As far MarkFosterBrooks the expert on everything who is never there. Have another drink, you should fit right in with the Topeker Drunks who were here in May. And to get back to the schedule, I am laughing my ass off at the whining again by the Topker idiots. (is that all that Topeker fans know how to do?) How much fun do you think MF had putting together your schedule after some of the drunken verbal assaults from the Topeker idiots at Nationals? This is all very entertaining, maybe you guys should have stuck to rodeos.

Several, if not most, of the teams complain on a daily basis that they can't financialy handle a large travel budget so they only want to play those teams closest to them. That is the only way to hold those costs down for most NAHL teams. Except for the Showcase and the Alaska trips Topeka doesn't play outside of our division either. We're playing the 3 teams closest to us, I think. I'm not to sure if Wichita Falls is closer than Northern Iowa or Southern Minnesota, but they are in our Division. St. Louis does play outside the division and Springfield and Wichita Falls haven't posted their schedules yet, and I'm not going through the entire NAHL schedule to look, so I'm not sure about whether they do or not.

We have showed you in more than one post how your story changed and you still deny it? Are you really that jealous of the Topeka Fans and the emotions we show for our team that you have to come on here and tell those lies? When you lie about one topic, which you did on more than just that one, it's hard to believe anything you post. You have lost any credibility you had, if you ever really had any to begin with. At least get all of the facts and find out what really happened and not listen to hearsay and rumors.

No, I did not read every post you ever wrote. No one could read that much dreck and keep a meal down. But you had invited us to show you where you said something (sort of like when Gary Hart years ago invited the press to take a look at his past, and they did)--we have and we did--and along the way found a few other things. It was interesting looking at some of your earlier stuff.

The telling thing about your posts is that when you started, you actually come across as a reasonable person, but you can see when you started to fall apart, long before there were the "Topeker idiots and drunks" to rail at. You've been a sorry and pathetic character for quite awhile now.

And in the recent posts, the only thing that hasn't changed are the same old tired, lame insults directed at the Topekans. You ran out of creativity a long time ago.

MC, I agree that we play some of the closes teams to us and that is good but 2 trips to alaska seems a bit much and maybe one of those trips needed to go to an out of division team.
Hey, I am just glad we have a schedule and that the divisions look great, this was just an observation.

St. Lou, you keep asking everyone to show where your story changed. I do not read all your post for it would be completely brain numbing, but this thread stuck in my head. If you will refer to the very first time you brought up the walk out subject in the thread 'Semis - MV vs. Topeka' you will see that you state specificly that 20 people walked out of the restaurant. Your very next post in the same thread said that only part of the 20 people didn't pay. Your story changed in just 2 postings. So with this being stated and proved, how, I ask you, can anyone take you seriously??

Topeka Guy's I didn't go back and read post , But I do remember back then . Thats wy I ask My question . I believe if ya' ll would IGNORE this guy he would go away . I know what he's saying is not true , as well as most people ( at least the ones that count) knows its just a spoof . what he needs to worry about is all the complaints NAHL is getting about st l playing on the same size ice as everyone else . since they have Regulation Ice but choose to play on the big Ice , because it gives them a advantage over visiting teams . If they had to play square up things might come out different .

Lloyd, I don't think it was the size of the ice so much as they have a very good organization and they have very good teams in St. Louis. They won as much on the road as they did at home. I also believe that one of the Alaska teams plays on Olympic sized ice, Kenai I think.

I'm going to have to apologize again. Scotsman points out that Louse changes his story in two posts. I gave Louse credit for six days. I regret giving Louse too much credit.

I can't disagree with Lloyd, but watching Louse self-destruct is like being witness to a car wreck--you don't really want to see it, but it's hard to turn away!

We do have smaller ice available, but it doesn't have as much seating, a press box (sorta), its own concession stand, etc. Not that we use all the seating that we have (which is a shame), but the olympic rink is the nicest of the three. Also, the main rink has been closed the past month or so. Maybe they were actually improving it? some real seats or heaters that work? please!

I don't really have a problem with St. Louis using the big sheet of ice in that building.

I guess it is probably somewhat of an advantage (although I doubt it is a major one) for them to play 1/2 their games on a larger sheet if they build their team to play a style that works well there. On the other hand, they are on the road 1/2 of the games as well, and if their team is getting an advantage on big ice, there is probably somewhat of a disadvantage on smaller ice away from home.

I really don't think there is much of a story here.
