While we can (and do) argue about the value of the $2MM investment annually in the program, US National Teams have consistently performed better in international play than they did before the program started a decade or so ago. Check the rosters - many or most of the players (depending on the age of the team) are current or former US NTDP players.

Very, very good info, Pop! Thank you! Did not realize they had such a small arena and competition. Under 18 played mostly universities with mixed results....lost by a goal to Ohio St, lost by a goal to Notre Dame. Thats a bit impressive.

How come the Cats never played them? Or did they played them at all in the past???

Haven't played each other in the past due primarily to being in different divisions. They are scheduled to face each other in the Showcase up in MN, September 17 if I'm not mistaken. Not sure if the Cats will be playing the U17s (92's) or the U18's (91's). It would be wise for teams not to underestimate the talent of the NTDP clubs, which can make up for being rusty early in the season...
