in that case Dallas Stars will win the cup.

Well good. If we're jinxing teams, then every team except the Boston Bruins will win the Cup. Especially the Stars, Wings, Habs, and Leafs.

"Red Wings Suck" song
Body: The Red Wings Suck
(to the tune of “Blitzkrieg Bop” by the Ramones)

Ay! Oh! Wings blow!
Ay! Oh! Wings blow!
Ay! Oh! Wings blow!
Ay! Oh! Wings blow!

Holmstrom thinks he’s tough stuff
Legace doesn’t have enough
Shanahan’s a jag-off
The Red Wings suck!

Maltby is a jock rash
Datsyuk wants more cash
Yzerman’s a wank-splash
The Red Wings suck!

(Bridge)
Ay! Oh! Wings blow!
Draper skates like J-Lo
Lang plays like a no-show
Chelios is a prison ho

All they want is money
Elimination’s funny
Their future is not sunny
The Red Wings suck!

We hate the Red Army
Their fans they are so smarmy
In Hell they will be warm-y
The Red Wings suck!

I'd like to donate a few capital letters and punctuation marks to you.

I'd still rate Scott Stevens as the best leader the NHL has had. Mark Messier, as much as I hate him, would be second, Yzerman third.

And even though Yzerman is a great leader, he's old. The entire team is getting up there in age. He, Chelios, Shanahan, and others won't be around much longer. They have some good young players, but let's be serious. Yzerman, Chelios, and Yzerman are on their last legs, Schneider is up there in age, even Lidstrom has talked about retiring and going back to Sweden. Out of 23 players on the roster listed on Yahoo, 9 of them are 34 or older (Chelios, Cross, Draper, Lang, Lidstrom, Schneider, Shanahan, Wooley, and Yzerman).

This is a team on the decline.

Good way to look at it. Just better hope they make the right changes soon.

Better than can be said for the Avs fans, without their own high-priced lineup of superstars...

I hate to say this, but the way the Avalanche are playing they may be tough to beat.
