Won't be to far behind youo. I am going to Cozumel Aug. 9 to 16. Geat airfare and room for w eek.

It is time to comence the diving again.

I already did the first lesson in the pool at a resort out in the Bahamas and loved it and wanted to learn and actually go out into the ocean and dive. I'll call and let you know when.

My whole life I've wanted to learn to dive. Unfortunately I'm petrified to go into any body of water that is home to anything non-human, and I fear people might think I'm a little off if I were to show up at the local pool with a bunch of diving gear... Laughing

I'm not saying I'm not a little off but I wanted to try it before I spent the money to take lessons. It was at a resort in the Bahamas and I wasn't the only one in the pool doing the diving thing and I'll probably never see anyone I met there again (I think that's why fat hairy guys wear speedos when they go on vacations).

I wasn't referring to you. I meant if I were to show up at the local public swimming pool like that. Although it would be fun as hell to get all geared up and go lay in the kiddie pool.

By the way, are you implying that I need to get rid of the speedo?

I "muff dive" on a regular basis. No license required, swimming pool optional...and you can do it in Cancun just as well as you can in Alaska.
