When BAM, LLC moved to Michigain, the gave back the Express name and logo rights to the league. The league then gave us the rights back to use the name and logo how we seen fit. End of story!

Actually... most team's logos are so pathetic they aren't worth stealing in the first place.

Yep, its butt ugly alright. Looks like a blimp. The powers that be are limited in the design dept. Spit Hate that they are forcing us to have to buy new fan stuff. That sucks. But hey, as long as we get our free tickets that will help offset those costs.

Our website has this header for the final tryout applicants consideration.
Seems like they do not want to attract too many guys to attend. We need all the money we can get and yet they post this blowoff.

The Express are only having one tryout camp this year becouse the team came together late in the year. July 17 - 20 was the only open ice left for the Express to use for the camps. Next year they will have two camps like the first three years. The header is just a question. Not away to keep the boys from coming to the camp. Very Happy

And you know this how? Its not written well regardless.

Wow, what's going on in Owatonna? Are they holding people by gunpoint until they buy new shirts now?

Na, not gunpoint, but they want to start to push the new stuff already. I cant afford it, I have enough of the old stuff already and I like it. It dont have to say Owatonna for me.

All these people bitch about all of this stuff in Owatonna, but in the end THEY will by a shirt or jersey and THEY will be at the games. They like to hear the empty can rattle. Beating a dead horse

Na, not all of US will buy new stuff. Free tickets will be wonderful. Not all of us are rich these days and yes I like to hear my empty beer cans rattle when I toss them in the recycle bin Thumbs up

I have faith in the board of directors, but I think they missed the boat by not having the public get a say in the new logo, and by not having an unveiling of it instead of it leaking onto a website.

I preach at times that when people complain about this stuff, they should at least have an idea of their own. My idea was to have a logo that'd be more kid friendly (easy to make a mascot out of) and represent a new start. Just my 10 cents worth though.

The new website is cold. It needs to be more friendly and welcoming rather than sounding and looking like its got a chip on its shoulder. Whats with the space for rent? Rolling Eyes
