once again you miss the point

as a matter of fact the only point you'll ever get is the one in your pants whenever you look at the boys underwear section in the Sears catalogue

Does anyone know if Mas Fukashima is involved in player recruitment and scouting? I have been told that he was the architect who was instrumental in bringing in a number of the players in year 1 that had previous USHL and Canadian Junior hockey league experience. That was our best team in my opinion. That was quite a year as we had guys like Jason Wiley, Chris Barth, the Gaulrapp brothers, Jeff Carlson, Nick Hopper, Joe Welsh, Stu Bickel, and Benoit Quesandia (sp?) all with previous experience in the USHL and/or Canada. I know that not all of them were on the team at the beginning of the year, but it doesn't appear that we had the same level of players at the recent tryout. Is Mas still involved with the team?

Cant some of these people move forward, I mean this year # 4 for heavens sake. Nothing like yahoos who dwell in the past past past.

No, the team is young and new and will have problems and need adjustment JUST like the rest of the teams in our little narrow playground.

I guess I should have guessed that you'd miss my point based on your previous posts. The point was that this compares to the first year in that we are a new franchise with no returning players. The formula used in that year was a winning formula that hopefully can be utilized again. I'm not living in the past but certainly learned from that year. Hopefully those in charge also learned from it. Time will tell but it doesn't appear that there were any in the tryout camp with previous Junior A experience outside the NAHL. Hopefully, we can attract some with experience in other leagues, especially the USHL.

There were a few veterans that have been announced and there are a few rookies who are well known by the scouts and could have an immediate impact on this team. Chemistry will be a big factor as it is on any team.

Remember just like every year, rosters will change sometimes significantly especially within the first month or two of the season. Some players just don't pan out and others exceed expectations.
