Has anyone heard any news out of the summer meetings regarding the TT?

Not sure TC is cut out for Pro hockey, this will be very interesting to watch and have to wonder if he is going to mellow a bit. One would assume so.

Why would Tony change? Why would the most successful coach in NAHL history want to change?

He coaches to WIN! He coaches to develop players to be the best they can be. He developed the Tornado to be the envy of the league. Why would you have him change??

The "hiatus' by the Tornado ownership didn't start with this coming season! It started the last year Tony coached and culminated in why they got as divorce. Ownership had they way and we all saw the results in 07/08. They went for the bottom line with lots of high priced managers and cost cutting yet iced the worst team in Tornado history and perhaps the last team ever!!!

WTF, seriously? I get probably half a dozen inquiries a month from people asking what Curtale is doing. I get a little information and try to pass it along, and get pilloried. Reason #3 why I've stopped blogging.

Cripes. I could not say what team was considering him without betraying the confidence of my source. If you use your brains and pay attention you might be able to figure it out.

Back to my original question. Did the NAHL conclude the summer meetings and if so, what committment did the Tornado ownership make to having a team in Frisco or selling or whatever.

Marc may be the biggest K-I-A on this board, but I have yet to see him post incorrect information where the business aspect of junior hockey is concerned. Not to mention that he posts under his real name- unlike some of the pretenders out there who only seem interested in skewering anyone they can. Leastways, he's the guy to whom I direct all my questions. I'm sure I'll get some backup from a few of the old-timers here on that one.

Oh yeah-- Marc also knows when to keep something OFF of GR, which is a talent a few others should learn.

I agree 95% Hippie. I just can't get past the whole Zero-U crap. Other than that I enjoy Marc's insight and input.
