1) Islanders
2) Blues
3) Vancouver

My Dad has been a long time Islanders fan, he grew up near the city. I was a "Bleed Blue" die-hard Blues fan, but the upcoming sale of the team really pissed me off.

Most days its..

1. Penguins
2. Flames
3. Ottawa

But then there are other days when it is...

1. Wild
2. Vancouver
3. Leafs

Of course, there are also those days when I decide I like...

1. Carolina
2. Washington
3. Oliers

Don't like the Kings, they're bad.

How in the hell can you like Col. and Det.?
Easy I was a Nordiques fan back in the 80's before all this Detroit/Colorado stuff started up. When the Nordiques moved to Colorado in 95 I kept on liking them. Although Calgary has always been my favorite, and Lanny McDonald is still my favorite player of all time. Detroit is a distant third.

Calais!

Your dilemma is similar to the type we have here in Kansas. You see license plates here with "KU/K-State - A House divided."

Your love of Swedish players may be the root cause of your problem.

Have a healthy & happy 2006.

Ahhhhh Lucieluv, now do you honestly think that is the only reason I would like a hockey team? Embarassed Now, while I do admit that when it comes to a good looking piece of Man-Pie (be it Canadian, Swedish, or even Finnish) I do not discriminate. I mean where does it say that women can't act like men sometimes? I see a piece of cute meat and I say to myself 'You only live once Stacy. Be a man!' Wink

And I would be lying if I stated that the Canucks weren't a team full of Sponge Worthy Candidates, however that is not the reason the Canucks are my second favourite team, I do believe that GM wins the box of Cracker Jacks with his answer!

You GO with your bad self GM!

The term "Sponge Worthy" comes from an episode of Seinfeld. And just for sh*ts and giggles, I have had a "Sponge Worthy List" for about 10 years now. It actually started off as a CHL Sponge Worthy List with the first ever "Sponge King" being Paul Jackson. It's actually quite funny and my friends seem to get a real kick out of it every year.

And FYI, the reining Sponge King is Vancouver's Brendan Morrison. He has held the title for about three years now.

And GM, what sort of special prize did you get in your Cracker Jacks? Anything cool?

Calais,

Cracker Jacks were pretty good, thanks and the prize was a THIRD PERIOD COME FROM BEHIND win against your 'Nucks last nite.

On a side note, I commend your personal committment towards achieving diversity and equal rights in targeting your hormonal sights Zany on Scandinavian hockey players. Clap
