Simple:
1. Your going to have to triple the IRS just to hunt down the street corner drug dealer to make sure he's paying his share of taxes never mind the small businesses that will flourish in the crack and meth making fields.
2. We will need to hire people to test the drugs to make sure they are cut the right way. We sure don't want anyone overdosing because their heroin wasn't cut right.
3. We will need 3 or 4 times as many Lawyers to defend the Government because we legalized it and now those poeple that are addicted can't find a job because they can't pass a drug screen and they're suing the Government because they'll need Social Security to make up any lost revenue.
4. Quadruple Medicare, they will have to take care of all of the addicts on Social Security.
5. All of the small business loans to all those people making meth and crack. If we legalize it, they would qualify as a small business.

But only if you are a Minority, Homosexual, or a Woman. If you are a white male then it's OK for the Federal Government to tell you what you can and can't do in your personal and private life, right jc?

Quadruple Medicare, they will have to take care of all of the addicts on Social Security. as fred notes, they will die quicker and we will more than make back any short-term medicare costs in reduced social security and long-term medicare costs. that has already been proven by a dutch study (which you may feel free to quibble with ad naseum) 5. If we legalize it, they would qualify as a small business. if business is good, they will repay those loans with interest and the gov't will make some $. if business is bad, then drug use will have been reduced by legalization and you will have gotten your way. it's a win-win situation.

But is it really FREEDOM if it isn't for EVERYONE. Shouldn't EVERYONE be treated the same and have the same rights. Apparently not according to you. Monorities, Homosexuals and Women should have more rights and White Males have less rights.

hmmmm, i hardly ever call anyone a pothead unless they have previously insulted me. maybe i was just kidding around with you boys. you know, the same way you kid around with me. at any rate, it was too long ago for me to remember the details.

Please explain how this is a racist question, I have got to see this explination. Either everyone is free or it isn't freedom. It's like the old saying: "Everyone is equal but some are more equal than others".

Kind of like the law that says I have to rent my house to a darkie becuase he should have the freedom to live where he wants, but I don't have the freedom to rent to whoever I want?
