It has been a while since I was around the CHL.....Fleck received a MATCH penalty. Is there not an automatic suspension with this penalty?

The Match pen. automatically starts the suspension and the player is not allowed to play until after a ruling by the leage offical. This is what the rule book states. So Fleck is out until they make a decision, which the games he misses until the ruling will be taken out of the total number of games. Example, he misses one, then they make the ruling of 5 games. He would have to serve 4 more games. The rule also states that the offical must call the head offical after the game and explain what happened and what he saw and so forth.
