Its shaping up to be a good team this year, although I doubt we will get as many goals as last years.

Vets are playing well in camp, Hartung, Delaurell are flying, Yost looks like he has gotten alot stronger, hitting everything that moves, Nowick had some great soft hand moves, looks to be a good year

Do us all a favor and take your bullshit bickering to some other thread and leave this one for people who actually want to discuss the article and the Wildcats camp and not have wade through your crap. It's not getting old-- it GOT old a long damn time ago.

And yes, Wildcats will have a preseason game at home against OU on September 13, plus games at home against the Tulsa Rampage on September 5 and 6, and up in Topeka on September 14.

Place the blame on the instigator(Moe).

Funny how its not mentioned on OU hockey schedule or anywhere on its website.

Your correct it's not on the web site, but I did get from there new assistant coach...Murph. It would be a real barn burner. Don't be suprised if this turns into an annual thing. Some former cats will be back home!!

I can't confirm the OU-WF game, but only because I haven't talked to my friends in the program for the last week or so. I will say, however, that I wouldn't 100% trust the schedule posted on the website. For example, there's a game confirmed on March 8th that's not posted yet (sorry I'm not at liberty to discuss the details). They've just not got everything posted.

Besides, the WF game is a preseason. I wouldn't be surprised if it never gets posted.

Must be hockey season again.

I tried to split out most of the crap. I left some of it in that also had references to the potential OU-WF game.

That will be rather cool. Seeing the Rampage play will be interesting as well. Their coach helped out last year and has been here this year, too. Seems to be a pretty good guy. I wouldn't mind seeing an exhibition against the Renegades, either.

sorry, chop, I've got my hands full at the moment.

I say KYC full of Sooner Nation fans because they are "Sooner Nation". We only average 1500-1700 fans per regular game, over 2000 on a good night and KYC can hold up to 8000. We're only a few miles from Red River so you can pretty much expect Sooner Nation to come in droves. I doubt we would even get the average attendance being an exhibition game, not to mention the poor track record WF citizens in supporting a local non-high school team.

and BTW, WF has a LOT of Sooner fans.

I'd be very surprised if there's more than 250 OU fans at the game, and many of those will be DFW-based parents of players. I don't expect them to "travel" their fans (they average 800-1200 a night depending on the opponent and what else is going on around campus and town), so any additional fans they bring will be local turncoats.

How is it a "win" for OU? Not being a smartass...just wonderin' how a scrimmage against a Jr A team that hasn't done a whole hell of a lot constitutes a "win".
